   Bio: Elaine liked her life. She enjoyed having good looks, money, and was happy with her brief marriage. After the discovery of her abilities, involving blowing up the fish tank at her work in anger, she lost most of her life. Her looks became associated with the scar she had over her eye from a shard of glass, her money went with her husband, and her marriage ended with him taking everything. So used to the high-life, it’s a wonder how long she’ll last here.
   Ability: the ability to manipulate water 

They had told Elaine that Bethlem would be the cure to all her troubles. Just admitting herself into the place would be far better than going to prison, since the people at Bethlem actually tried to help people like her with their problems.

The problem in question being this ability she found herself with. She had known that people with abilities existed, but she never thought she would be one herself. And when it manifested in the office that day and ruined her life, taking away everything she held precious to her, she fell apart.

“They can cure me, can’t they?” she asked the guards escorting her into the grounds on the first day. “I just want it gone. I want my old life back!” she added, looking towards them for some reassurance, which was not returned. Hopefully she had made the right choice to rehabilitate herself at Bethlem.
